Here is a new necklace I made. The focal was my first polymer clay project. After baking the polymer clay, I painted it with Swellegant brass and the used the Swellegant Tiffany Green Rust Patina.I also used that patina on the two copper washers.  I colored the filigree with gilder's paste. Then I finished the necklace with the aqua colored seam binding from Karen Lackey's Hand Dyed Seam Binding Challenge. This made a nice ribbon to thread through the copper chain. Thank you Karen for sending me this seam binding! It encouraged me to try using fabric in my jewelry. The link to the challenge blog post is here.
